GDPR Compliance & Legal Information

Is Kallglot GDPR Compliant?

Kallglot maintains a GDPR readiness program and GDPR-aligned controls for its real-time voice translation and telephony services. Readiness does not guarantee that every customer use case is compliant; customers remain responsible for their own legal obligations and configuration choices. Kallglot generally acts as processor for customer call content and as independent controller for limited account, billing, security, abuse-prevention, business communication, and required regulatory data.

For detailed information, see our Privacy Policy.

Does Kallglot have a Data Protection Officer (DPO)?

Yes. Kallglot has a Data Protection Officer and a dedicated Privacy Compliance team to manage all data protection and privacy considerations.

You may contact our DPO at privacy@kallglot.com.

I want to make a data subject request to Kallglot, who can I contact?

If you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject, such as the right of data access or data deletion, you can contact our Privacy Team directly at privacy@kallglot.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Does Kallglot keep a Record of Processing Activity (ROPA)?

Yes. Kallglot maintains a Record of Processing Activity (ROPA) that covers all data processing activities. The ROPA is updated regularly to reflect our current processing operations.

For customers where we act as a Processor, you may request a copy of our ROPA at privacy@kallglot.com.

Does Kallglot transfer personal data to countries outside of the EU/EEA?

Yes. Some of our sub-processors (e.g. Twilio, OpenAI, Stripe) are based in the USA. Kallglot relies on the EU-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for these transfers.

SCCs are included in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA). We also conduct Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) to evaluate risks.

Where possible, we use EU-based infrastructure and configure sub-processors to process data within the EU/EEA.

Where does Kallglot store personal data?

Kallglot uses EU-hosted core infrastructure where supported. Customer organizations can select EU, US, or Global processing preferences. The selected region influences processing, provider routing, and storage-at-rest preferences where technically supported.

  • EU-region provider endpoints are used where available when EU is selected
  • Some providers have regional limitations based on language, feature availability, provider capability, or fallback routing
  • Relevant provider purposes and regions are published in the Trust Center
  • Encrypted backups are retained under the normal backup lifecycle for resilience and disaster recovery

Does Kallglot use customer data to train AI models?

Kallglot selects business API services and contractual configurations intended to prevent customer API data from being used to train provider models. Kallglot does not currently use customer call content, recordings, transcripts, translations, or voice data to train or fine-tune Kallglot-owned models by default. Any future customer-data-based model improvement will require customer opt-in, appropriate terms, and privacy safeguards.

Where can I find a list of Kallglot's sub-processors?

Kallglot's list of sub-processors is available on our Sub-processor List page. DPAs are available where required, with transfer safeguards applied where applicable.
